Command-line Programmer

MSP Flasher is an open-source, shell-based interface for programming MSP devices through a FET programmer or eZ430 via JTAG or Spy Bi-Wire (SBW). It is based on the MSP Debug Stack and provides the most common functions on the command line. MSP Flasher can be used to download binary files (.txt/.hex) directly to the MSP main memory without the need of an IDE like CCS or IAR. It can also be used to extract firmware directly from a device, blow the JTAG fuse, and set hardware breakpoints.

MSP Flasher can run from any directory location. This makes it easy to provide an update option for new firmware.
