The TMS320 DSP Algorithm Standard demo application illustrates the benefitsof standardizing components according to the TMS320 DSP Algorithm Standard Rules and Guidelines (literature number SPRU352). This standard, proposed by Texas Instruments, allows DSP algorithms that originate from different sources to share a common interface.
This document is divided into three sections. Chapter one explains how to run and use the demonstration application. Chapter two discusses the general operation of the aggregate system including pipes, threads, I/O, and notification functions. Chapter three discusses standard interface topics.
