Stellaris® MCUs for Industrial Automation

Whether PLC, RTU, or other automation style, Stellaris MCUs feature CAN, serial, and Ethernet (allowing TCP/IP, ModBus, etc), along with many advanced features to support the application. With a large number of very fast GPIOs for proprietary control, ADCs/I²C/SPI interfaces for sensors and control links, plenty of memory, and full hardware support for motor control of Steppers, AC induction, Servos, and the like. Stellaris is and can be used throughout the industrial space.

Stellaris Motor and Motion Control Features:

• Motion Control PWMs with deadband and fault detection support safe and efficient operation of motors. High speed ensures cleanest operation.
• QEI (quadrature encoder input) supports incremental encoders, tachometers, generators/resolvers, TDC detectors.
• High speed ADCs support current measurement using Halls or shunts to adjust algorithms optimally.
• Independent integrated analog comparators can be configured to drive an output or generate an interrupt of an ADC event.
