Stellaris® MCUs for Transportation Applications

Transportation covers everything from on-vehicle tracking modules to fuel payment systems to access controls in automotive, agricultural, materials handling, marine, and mass transit. The Bosch CAN peripheral for in-vehicle modules allows for lower cost, high-integration solutions in passenger comfort, feature scaled modules, and fleet management systems. Motion control features allow for lower cost and higher reliability in operations of motors, linear motors, servos, and other actuators.

Stellaris Motor and Motion Control Features:

• Motion Control PWMs with deadband and fault detection support safe and efficient operation of motors. High speed ensures cleanest operation.
• QEI (quadrature encoder inputs) support incremental encoders, tachometers, generators/resolvers, TDC detectors.
• High speed ADCs support current measurement using Halls or shunts to adjust algorithms optimally.
• Independent integrated analog comparators can be configured to drive an output or generate an interrupt of ADC event.
