Stellaris® MCUs for Security and Access Control Applications

Security systems are used to control access, protect goods, provide remote vision, track devices, and communicate alerts. Stellaris parts support this vital market with flexible communications, ADCs and Analog Comparators for readings and sensing, and PWMs and GPIOs to control actuators. Use of deep sleep and hibernate supports low power and battery operation.

Stellaris Motor and Motion Control Features:

• Motion Control PWMs with deadband and fault detection support safe and efficient operation of motors. High speed ensures cleanest operation.
• QEI (quadrature encoder inputs) support incremental encoders, tachometers, generators/resolvers, TDC detectors.
• High speed ADCs support current measurement using Halls or shunts to adjust algorithms optimally.
• Independent integrated analog comparators can be configured to drive an output or generate an interrupt of ADC event.
