How to fix: When I attempt to synchronize using Intellisync, Avigo, and my Lotus Organizer 97 database, the error "Synchronization could not be completed: Unable to load source application API. Verify application is installed." occurs?

This error will occur if Intellisync for Avigo cannot locate necessary files within the Lotus Organizer 97 directory structure. Possible causes could be an improper Lotus Organizer 97 installation, multiple versions of Lotus Organizer 2.x/97/GS installed onto computer, or attempting to synchronize with Lotus Organizer 97GS using the Lotus Organizer 97 translator.

To correct this problem you should uninstall any current version of Lotus Organizer 97, then reinstall it.
