USB (Universal Serial Bus) Hubs expand the USB host's connection capability to allow more than one device to be connected to each host port by repeating and branching the bus. TI's USB Hub controller ICs support USB full-speed (12 Mbps) as their maximum bit transfer rate. They can support a USB high-speed (480 Mbps) device, but its performance will be limited to USB full-speed.
