Software for DSPs
TI SDKs provide operating systems, demos, tools, software components and documentation to ease and accelerate development. SDKs can be downloaded on TI.com for free and are included with TI evaluation modules (EVM) and development kits.
Development Tools for DSPs
For ARM® or DSP software development, TI offers the Eclipse-based Code Composer Studio™ IDE (CCStudio). The TI compiler has been tuned to generate optimized DSP code from C code, allowing developers a higher level of abstraction and, combined with TI’s extensive optimized math libraries, eliminates the need for assembly level programming. CCStudio simulators also offer profiling, cache-tuning and real-time debugging on the DSP. JTAG emulators with a variety of PC interfaces, speeds, and prices are available from TI and through TI's Design Network.
Code Composer Studio™ (CCStudio) IDE
Code Composer Studio™ is an Eclipse-based integrated development environment for TI's DSPs, microcontrollers and application processors. CCStudio includes a suite of tools used to develop and debug embedded applications. It includes compilers for each of TI's device families, source code editor, project build environment, debugger, profiler, simulators and many other features. CCStudio provides a single user interface taking users through each step of the application development flow. Familiar tools and interfaces allow users to get started faster than ever before and add functionality to their application thanks to sophisticated productivity tools.
