Description

The ADS125H01 and ADS125H02 (ADS125H0x) are 24-bit, 40-kSPS, delta-sigma (ΔΣ) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) featuring a wide input range,
1-GΩ input impedance, programmable gain amplifier (PGA). The ADCs provide a wide input range, high-resolution measurement system in a compact 5-mm × 5-mm VQFN package.

The ADCs integrate an ±18-V PGA and a precision voltage reference with a low-noise, 24-bit ADC. The ADCs provide programmable input ranges from ±20 mV to ±20 V that, in many cases, eliminate the need for external attenuation. The differential-input ADC accepts single-ended input configurations with little loss of total measurement resolution.

The digital filter provides simultaneous 50-Hz and
60-Hz line cycle rejection with single-cycle settled conversions for data rates of 20 SPS and less.

Signal and reference monitors, a temperature sensor, and CRC data verification enhance data reliability.

The ADS125H01 and ADS125H02 are pin-compatible devices and are fully specified over the –40°C to +125°C temperature range.
