Replaced By TPA3251 – The device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY as the compared device, but is not pin-for-pin equivalent and may not be parametrically equivalent. Delivers a better performance with a lower THD+N (<0.005% @1W into 4Ω) and a signal bandwidth up to 100kHz for true Ultra-HD / High Resolution sound while supporting output levels up to 175W Stereo / 350W Mono.
TPA3245 – The device has the SAME FUNCTIONALITY as the compared device, but is not pin-for-pin equivalent and may not be parametrically equivalent. For applications with lower power requirements, the TPA3245 delivers the same performance as the TPA3251 for output levels up to 115W Stereo / 230W Mono.
TAS5611A – The device is an EXACT EQUIVALENT in functionality and parametrics to the compared device.

TI does not recommend using this part in a new design. This product continues to be in production to support existing customers.

Description

The TAS5611 is a high performance analog input Class D amplifier with integrated closed loop feedback technology (known as PurePath™ HD) with the ability to drive up to 125W.(1) Stereo into 4 to 8 Speakers from a single 32.5V supply.

PurePath™ HD technology enables traditional AB-Amplifier performance (<0.03% THD) levels while providing the power efficiency of traditional class D amplifiers.

Unlike traditional Class D amplifiers, the distortion curve only increases once the output levels move into clipping.

PurePath™ HD technology enables lower idle losses making the device even more efficient.
