The TCAN4420 is a high-speed Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver that meets the specifications of the ISO 11898-2 (2016) physical layer standard requirements. The device also allows the CAN bus polarity to be controlled externally by a microcontroller through the SW pin. The TCAN4420 includes many protection features providing device and CAN network robustness. Support for 2.8 V to 5 V MCUs and I/Os is included through the VIO pin.
