Motor Control: Permanent Magnet		Patient Monitoring		Telehealth Aggregation Manager
TI's microcontrollers can control PMSM motors using either scalar or vector-control techniques. Knowledge of rotor position is important for efficient control of a PMSM motor. The rotor position can be detected by hall sensors or rotary encoders attached to the motor. These sensor inputs are used in a sensored feedback control system.		TI’s embedded ARM microcontrollers and DSP processor cores directly addresses the challenges of implementing patient treatment and monitoring equipments.		The LM3S9B9x’s low power sleep modes and fast interrupt processing are ideal features for Telehealth Aggregation Managers. TI provides all system drivers and no assembly is required.
