Texas Instruments (NYSE: TXN) today announced the formation of its Team Tag-it Program, a partnership of industry-leading companies dedicated to accelerating the development and adoption of RFID smart label solutions. Close to 30 companies, including hardware and software suppliers, printer, reader and scanner manufacturers, and systems integrators, have joined Team Tag-it™.
Team Tag-it™ offers marketing, sales and networking opportunities as well as a forum for sharing resources to further strengthen the market infrastructure for RFID smart labels. Team Tag-it™ News will be distributed as a bi-monthly member newsletter and posted on a special section of the Texas Instruments' RFID web site
(www.ti-rfid.com). Other Team Tag-it™ marketing activities include joint announcements, presentations at trade shows and cooperative advertising.
