))) Texas Instruments Announces Upgrade of TI-RFid™ Web Site
Redesigned Site is Easier to Use and More Comprehensive
))) DALLAS, TX (August 31, 2000)
Texas Instruments (TI), has redesigned its TI-RFid™ Web site, www.ti-rfid.com, making the one-stop informational site on radio frequency identification (RFID) more comprehensive and user-friendly.
The site remains a source for information on TI's RFID products, complete with downloadable brochures, reference guides and application notes on TI's technology and product offerings. The press center section of the site contains company facts, contact information, downloadable graphic images, and recent news and press releases. Various case studies for the many applications and solutions offered by TI-RFid™ can also be found on the site.
"We're continuing to make our RFID technology easier to use and adopt and the Web is a major part of our strategy,", said Tony Sabetti, worldwide marketing manager for TI.
A new section has been added that focuses on Team Tag-it™, a worldwide program formed by TI to accelerate the development and adoption of RFID smart label solutions. Member information, news and events are available online. Issues of the Team Tag-it™ quarterly newsletter are downloadable on the site as well.
