For consumers, FreedomPay is free to join and makes cashless purchasing convenient and rewarding. Consumers simply link their FreedomPay tag, a secure Radio Frequency Identification (RFid) key tag, to their choice of: credit card, check card or bank account and they can also opt to "auto- replenish" their account using their credit card. Once installed, they will then be able to make purchases and receive instant rewards at any participating Sodexho run location.
Purchase authorization occurs in less than five seconds which is faster than using cash and much more convenient. FreedomPay members can check their personal profile, view their account balance, view past purchase history and learn about promotional offers via the FreedomPay Web site.
