Use TI's Multichannel Vocoder TDK with either a C6711 DSK or C6211 DSK to learn more about how multichannel vocoders may be implemented on C6000 DSPs. For a serious evaluation, you will want to take a look at the eXpressDSP compliant vocoders from TI's third parties. These third party vocoders are more optimized and will provide greater channel density than the examples included in the TDK from TI.
