Sample Request Connectivity Problems

Why can't I connect to the server to request samples?

TI sample requests uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for communication between your web browser and a new Texas Instruments secure web server. This encrypts your personal information to provide total security while it travels across the Internet. You will need a web browser that supports SSL.

  1. Check your browser's security options settings to verify that SSL hasn't been disabled.
  2. If your browser reports a DNS problem resolving www-a.ti.com try connecting with a specific IP Address of 192.94.94.197.
  3. If you need assistance configuring your proxy settings, contact your system administrator.
  4. Some ISP's have difficulty connecting to a new web server. If you fail to connect after several attempts, contact your ISP for assistance.

The following web browsers should work:
        AOL 3.0 or higher
        Lynx 2.3.7 or higher
Microsoft Internet Explorer 2.0 for Windows or higher
Microsoft Internet Explorer 3.0 for Macintosh or higher
        Netscape Navigator 1.1 or higher
        Netscape Communicator

However, we recommended that you upgrade to the latest version of your web browser to benefit from the bug fixes and security enhancements incorporated into the latest version.

Texas Instruments does not provide support for any of these web browsers. Contact the browser manufacturer if you need assistance.
