TUCSON, Ariz. (June 25, 2003) - Extending its family of the industry's only high-speed, eight-channel analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), Texas Instruments (TI) Incorporated (NYSE: TXN) today announced two new 10-bit, octal ADCs that provide simultaneous conversion of up to eight differential analog signals at 40 and 65 mega samples per second (MSPS). Offering the lowest power per channel of any high-speed, 10-bit ADC currently on the market, these data converters provide the speed, resolution and low power required in multi-channel applications such as portable ultrasound and portable instrumentation.
