Designed to work directly with the Texas Instruments Digital Signal Processors (DSP) driving today’s digital revolution, TI’s new DSP-Sync FIFOs provide a DSP Glueless Interface and offer the features necessary to enhance your DSP-based system designs. These new DSP-Sync FIFOs leverage TI’s most advanced processing technology to create world-class FIFO performance, and set new levels in cost efficiency.
SN74V215, SN74V225, SN74V235, SN74V245
Available in 512x18, 1Kx18, 2Kx18, and 4Kx18 configurations, these synchronous unidirectional FIFOs offer low power (3.3V Vcc), 2.4Gbps data-rate performance (133MHz max clock cycle frequency), data access times of only 5ns, and are available now in the 64-pin TQFP (PAG) package. These DSP-Sync FIFOs are ideal for use in high-speed data acquisition applications and data-intensive communications equipment, such as gigabit-Ethernet routers, ATM switches, wireless basestations, and SONET/ATM multiplexers. Data sheets, related application notes, pricing, and production samples for the SN74V215, SN74V225, SN74V235, and SN74V245 are available. Qual-data and IBIS models for the SN74V245 series are also available by request.
SN74V263, SN74V273, SN74V283, SN74V293
Available in 8Kx18/16Kx9, 16Kx18/32Kx9, 32Kx18/64Kx9, and 64Kx18/128Kx9 configurations, the data input and output ports of these synchronous unidirectional FIFOs can be programmed as either 9-bits or 18-bits. These DSP-Sync FIFOs offer low power (3.3V Vcc), 3.0Gbps data-rate performance (166MHz max clock cycle frequency), and data access times of only 4.5ns. The SN74V293 series will be available in both the 80-pin TQFP (PZA) and 100-pin MicroStar BGA (GGM) packages, and production release is planned for 3Q01. These DSP-Sync FIFOs are ideal for use in multi-channel applications that require buffering large amounts of data, such as wireless basestations, remote access servers (RAS), digital subscriber loop (xDSL) systems, network security camera systems, cable modems, advanced medical/industrial imaging applications, precision instrumentation, and multi-channel telephony systems. Preliminary data sheets and related application notes for the SN74V263, SN74V273, SN74V283, and SN74V293 are available. Engineering samples, pricing information, qual-data, and IBIS models for the SN74V293 series are also available by request.
SN74V3640, SN74V3650, SN74V3660, SN74V3670, SN74V3680, SN74V3690
Available in 1Kx36, 2Kx36, 4Kx36, 8Kx36, 16Kx36, and 32Kx36 configurations, these synchronous unidirectional FIFOs offer low power (3.3V Vcc), 6.0Gbps data-rate performance (166MHz max clock cycle frequency), and data access times of only 4.5ns. The SN74V3690 series will be available in both the 128-pin TQFP (PEU) and MicroStar BGA packages, and production release is planned for 1Q02. Offering the high bandwidth critical for both wired and wireless broadband communications infrastructure equipment, these DSP-Sync FIFOs are ideal for use in 3G wireless basestations, Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexers (DSLAMs), as well as other data-intensive applications such as gigabit-Ethernet routers, ATM switches and SONET/ATM multiplexers. Preliminary data sheets and related application notes for the SN74V3640, SN74V3650, SN74V3660, SN74V3670, SN74V3680, and SN74V3690 are available. Engineering samples, pricing information, qual-data, and IBIS models for the SN74V3690 series are also available by request.
