RF is becoming more and more important to differentiate applications with value-added features. The TRF6900, TRF4900 and TRF4400 from TI give designers a cost-effective and simplified way to add this valuable capability.

TI offers a range of TRF6900 and TRF4900 evaluation tools and development kits that come complete with software, schematics, BOM and Gerber files to help speed designs to market. Please visit our tools page for more information on these development tools.

The first highly integrated, low-power radio frequency (RF) transmitter from Texas Instruments (TI) consolidates all of the necessary RF transmitter functions on a single chip, reducing board space and component count and decreasing system costs. Especially well suited for portable short-range wireless applications such as utility metering, wireless keyboards, toys, security systems and remote controllers, the device is capable of frequency hopping in the ultra-high frequency (UHF) 850 - 950 MHz industrial/scientific/medical (ISM) band.
