mmWave SDK

mmWave SDK enables development of mmWave sensing applications on TI AWR1x platforms. The SDK is a software package consisting of device drivers, OS abstraction layer, libraries, firmware, APIs, utilities and demo examples. The SDK provides a reference framework for customers to develop their application faster and easier. The examples depict both control and data processing aspects with a cloud based visualization tool.

Device firmware package

mmWave DFP is a device firmware package for TI mmWave sensor – AWR1243 providing seamless control, configuration, calibration and monitoring capabilities for the RF/analog and digital front-end subsystem. This enables the mmWave front-end to be capable of adapting itself to dynamic conditions such as temperature.Also included in the DFP is the mmWave studio, a visualization tool that controls and configures TI AWR1xxx platforms. The studio enables characterization and RF performance evaluation of AWR1xxx platforms. The studio further facilitates raw data capture from the AWR1xxx platform, processes this data using Matlab and finally presents the processed data using a graphical user interface (GUI).

Processor SDK-Radar (Radar SDK) is a processor software development platform for TDAx Processors, companion part to AWR1243. The software framework allows users to create different ADAS radar application data flows involving radar post-processing.

The AWR1x EVM is a full featured development and evaluation tool for AWR1243 high-performance radar front-end, AWR1443/AWR1642 single chip radar.
