Signal Switches

Texas Instruments Signal Switches provide high-performance, low-power replacements for standard bus-interface devices when signal buffering (current drive) is not required. TI Signal Switches optimize next-generation datacom, networking, computing, portable communications, and consumer electronic designs by supporting both digital and analog applications, including; PCI interface, USB interface, memory interleaving, bus isolation, and low-distortion signal gating.

Specialty Switches
Specialty Switches are targeted directly for use in application specific areas like video or LAN, and leverage TI's most advanced process technologies to create the highest performance switches on the market. Examples are the TS5V330 and TS5L100 devices.
Digital Switches
Digital Switches are designed to pass (or isolate) digital signal levels. They may exhibit the capability to satisfactorily pass analog signals as well. Examples are the CB3Q, CB3T, and CBT switch families.
Analog Switches
Analog Switches are designed to pass (or isolate) analog signals. They often exhibit good digital signal performance as well. Examples are the CD74HC4066, SN74AUC1G66, and SN74LV4066A switches.
