Radio systems utilized by today’s first responders are facing new challenges as they span across more wireless communication bands, from TETRA, P25, and PDT. Handheld and vehicle radio manufacturers are being asked to provide higher levels of encrypted communication all with a limited power and size budget. To allow these radio manufacturers to meet these challenges TI provides the following advantages:

  • Low power PLL/synthesizers with direct digital FSK modulation through programming or pins
  • Multicore DSP+ARM system-on-chips (SoC) with integrated JESD204B lanes to me stringent size, weight, and power (SWaP) requirements
  • Power reference designs that showcase small space, low profile supplies for embedded processors and FPGAs from vehicle and portable Li-ion batteries requirements
