Description

TI integrated circuits and reference designs will help you to jumpstart your Barcode Scanner project through an image interface and processor able to capture and parse the universal product code, an efficient power management design and low power wireless and wired interfaces according to your needs.

    To achieve the desired function the following semiconductor solutions are required:

  • The ARM Cortex-A8 core fully supports the processing requirements of the scanning algorithm.
  • PMIC’s or discrete power solutions provide the barcode scanner with a solution to generate and regulate core, memory and IO power.
  • Bluetooth, RS232 and USB are the used protocols to communicate with the host.
