Design Considerations

AC/DC Non-Isolated Power Supply with PFC > 90W

An AC/DC Non-Isolated Power Supply with PFC > 90W is used to convert AC power lines to a DC output. This DC output can then be filtered and regulated to a voltage consistent to the application.

Typically, above approximately 90W, Power Factor Correction (PFC) is used.
