Servo Drive I/O & Display/Keypad

Servo Drive I/O & Display/Keypad System Solutions from Texas Instruments

Description

Display and keypad functions are the human interface to the servo drive. Configuration, status display, service and maintenance as well as monitoring drive status are often realized. In newer designs, in addition to I/Os & displays functions, a wireless interface is implemented connecting to a tablet with a GUI and app. Wireless interfaces like Bluetooth or Wi-Fi can be used to configure the drive and communicate status information through the operator's portable HMI. Other wireless interfaces like NFC or BLE that communicate to a smart phone, for example, allow easier and quicker access to the drive's parameters and safe time in the event of a fault. To reduce time to market, TI offers solutions for all major low power wireless standards including support for antenna layout and protocol stacks.
