Russian TI store order process
When placing an order on the TI store for delivery to the Russia, you will see the screen captured below and be asked to answer the question “Are your ordering this for a business or for a private individual?”
You must select an answer to continue the order. The answer determines the process with which your order will be shipped to Russia.
If you answer “Order for a business”, your order will ship with the usual process. There should be no more to do after the order has been submitted for processing.
If you answer “Order for an individual” and the order has been submitted for processing, your order will require the use of our third-party vendor SPSR. SPSR will handle the package as it passes through Russian Customs. SPSR will contact you with email and telephone text messages. They will require you to log into their web site and submit some more information.
The SPSR Process for Passing a Package through Russian Customs
STEP 1: SMS-TEXT & EMAIL MESSAGES SENT TO THE CONSIGNEE
STEP 2: CONSIGNEE CLICKS ON THE LINK IN THE MESSAGES
STEP 3: CONSIGNEE WILL GET THIS CONFIRMATION SCREEN BELOW. UPON CLICKING THE BUTTON A ONE-TIME PASSWORD WILL BE SENT TO THE CONSIGNEE’S MOBILE NUMBER IN ANOTHER SMS-TEXT MESSAGE THE CONSIGNEE HAS THE OPTION AT THIS POINT TO CHANGE THEIR MOBILE PHONE NUMBER IF THEY WOULD LIKE
NOTE: THE SHIPPER’s NAME FROM THE AIR-WAYBILL IS PRESENTED IN THIS MESSAGE WHICH HELPS THE CONSIGNEE TO UNDERSTAND THE PURPOSE OF THE MESSAGE AND UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOT SPAM OR PHISHING, etc.
STEP 4: CONSIGNEE RECEIVES THE PASSWORD, ENTERS IT, AND CAN ENTER THE SITE CONSIGNEE FILLS OUT THE INFORMATION CONSIGNEE CHECKS THE TICK BOXES TO INDICATE THEIR AGREEMENT WITH THE BROKER’S CONTACT AND DATA PROTECTION POLICIES CONSIGNEE THEN CLICKS THE BIG GREEN BUTTON AT THE BOTTOM, AND THE PROCESS IS COMPLETED
Once SPSR receives the required importation information, your order will be passed through Russian customs. Once this has been completed, FedEx will once again take the package and deliver it to its destination.
