Overview

Our integrated circuits and reference designs will help you jumpstart your electronic point of sale (EPOS), elastic container registry (ECR) and cash drawer projects through a secure processor, an efficient power management design and different wired and wireless interfaces Based on your needs.

Design requirements

Desktop point of sale (POS) systems require:

  • Sitara ARM™ processor enabled cryptography, secure boot, tamper protection, secure storage and more.
  • Full duplex wireless, like Bluetooth® and WiFi, and wired, like Ethernet, communication with remote servers and data storage facilities.
  • PMICs provide the EPOS, ECR and cash drawer with a solution to generate and regulate core, memory and input/output power.
