Description

The PMP11670 reference design is a dual channel USB charger for automotive application. It includes a high performance buck converter which provides total 3.5A load current for both channels. The Port Power Management feature of port controllers improves the thermal performance by limiting the max load current for each channel. Both ports support the USB BC1.2 CDP and DCP charging protocols. The built-in IEC protection helps to enhance the system's reliability while the low standby current extends the battery's life.
