Description

A quasi-resonant primary-side regulated isolated Flyback is used to provide 24V industrial voltage at 1.9A average (2.5Apeak) on secondary side and 24V @ 300mA on primary side from an AC input voltage of 170Vac-264Vac. The converter does not employ any optocoupler and regulates both output voltages by sensing the auxiliary winding on primary side. Thanks to its own constant current capability, it is possible to parallel two or more power supplies.

Features
  • Simple isolated PSR Flyback topology makes paralleling power supplies possible
  • Compact solution supplies 60W peak with almost flat efficiency from 2.5W to 55W (80%...89%)
  • Opto-less topology increases the reliability of the power supply
  • Good output voltage regulation versus load: +/-2% at ambient temperature, +/-5% in the whole range
