Overview
The PMP20588 reference design utilizes the TPS23861 PSE controller to implement a single port Type 2 PoE PSE. An isolated flyback converter, utilizing the LM5022 current mode PWM controller, accepts a 12Vdc/24Vac input and provides a 55Vdc/600mA output source for the PSE. It is ideally suited for any Type 2 (30W) PoE PSE application.
