Overview

The PMP30122 reference design is for an input voltage range from 40V to 55V with an output voltage of 28V@ 0.5A. This design is also tested for a maximum peak output current of 1A. The buck converter is dedicated to supply sensitive loads on one hand - and on the other hand equipped w/ input filter to attenuate reflected ripple to source. The layout itself is made for lowest radiated noise, no VHF ringing at the switch node. Feedback divider is calculated for 24V, 28V and 32V output.
