Overview

This compact reference design is a typical PoE application, supplying 10W at 5.3V from Ethernet power. Data filter, external auxiliary input and EMI filter are all on board. The synchronous rectification improves the efficiency, important at only 5.3V output voltage.

  • Good efficiency for this class of power, 91% @ 48Vin (PoE input), full load
  • Compact solution: without connectors and data filter, only 40mm x 60mm
  • The board can be configured to work with and without synchronous rectification
