Overview

This reference design converts an input voltage of 12 V to 24 V output voltage (isolated). The maximum output current is 250mA. The TPS40210 IC and primary side regulation makes this design cost efficient. A typical application may be IGBT-Driver or interface isolation (applications where a tight load regulation is not necessary). The secondary side of transformer allows 12V (windings parallel) or 24V (windings serial) output voltage.
