Overview

This reference design showcases a non-synchronous boost converter with a 6-V to 18-V (36-Vpeak) input. The output voltage is programmable to 20 V-36 V using a 0-3.3 V PWM signal generated by a signal generator or MCU.

Features
  • Tight load regulation results in a low deviation (10 mV) of the output voltage over the whole range of the output current
  • Efficiency higher than 93% over a output current range of 0.5 A to 2 A  (at 24 V output voltage)
  • Output voltage is dynamic adjustable from 6 V to 18 V output voltage
  • The already low input and output voltage ripple may be further reduced in poulating the optional input filter respective output filter
