PMP5744

Non-isolated Flyback with 100VAC to 460VAC Input and -5V@0.4A Output Reference Design

PMP5744

Design files

Overview

The PMP5744 reference design uses the UCC28610 discontinuous mode (DCM) flyback controller to generate a non-isolated output (-5V @ 0.4A). The Green-Mode Flyback Controller uses a cascoded achitecture that allows current control without an external sense resistor. The design is non-isolated, therefore no optocoupler is needed to regulate the output voltage.

Features
  • Non-isolated design eliminates optocoupler
  • Ultra-wide input voltage range
  • Cascoded configuration allows current control without sense resistor
  • Test report available
