Description

This design is a compact, low AC line input (Maximum 130Vac) Flyback converter which provides a regulated and fully-isolated 24V@1.45A output. Featuring TI's LM5021 current mode controller working at 135kHz, the converter features fast start-up and delivers greater than 85% efficiency from 30-100% load. The overall solution is very compact at 2312sq.mm. footprint area.

  • Delivers 35W output power at efficiency of 85.3% @ 85VAC, 86.6% @ 130VAC
  • 24V output compatible with standard industrial applications, less than 0.5% line/load regulation from no-load to full-load
  • 4kV galvanic isolation between input and output
  • 108mVpp ripple on output at 35W full-load condition
  • Passes conducted EMI emissions in compliance with EN55022
  • Ideal for Bias power supplies needed in industrial electronic equipment for building infrastructure, home automation etc.
