Description

The PMP7837 is a 4-phase synchronous boost converter that can take a 6-17V input and put out 24V at 450W. It is used for powering up to eight 50W automotive trunk amplifiers. The 4-phase synchronous design with 450kHz switching frequency per phase results in a compact and efficient circuit well suited for such applications.

  • 96% peak efficiency at 12V input
  • 1.8MHz effective switching frequency
  • Ripple cancellation as a result of 4-phase design
