Programmable output Constant Voltage - Constant Current (CVCC) Quasi-Resonant Flyback charger

PMP8955

Design files

Overview

This industrial charger reference design uses the LM5023 Quasi-Resonant Flyback controller to implement a 120VAC input design with CVCC output configured by microcontroller PWM control from 10 to 22.5V and output current from 200mA to 2A.

Features
  • Ouput voltage and current independently configured by PWM input
  • >83% efficency above 20W @21.2V output
  • 5V output provided for secondary side micro-controller
