Description

Two TPS40140 control ICs are used to build a four phase synchronous buck converter.  The input voltage is 12V with an output of 5V at up to 55A.  A four phase design allows for very high efficiency and helps to spread the heat out on the PCB.  The design was built and tested using PMP2064 PCBs, please see that design for PCB and gerber info.
