Overview

The PMP9087 reference design uses Buck converter to convert universal AC input voltage (85Vac to 265Vac) to a 12V/200mA DC output with UCC28710 controller. High efficiency and circuit simplicity is achieved with quasi-resonant valley-switching operation and the utilization of Buck topology.
