PMP9495

Design files

Overview

PMP9495 is a 72 W four Switch Buck –Boost Design utilizing best in Class Synchronous Buck Boost Converter LM5175.  The design accepts a very Wide input voltage of 6Vin to 33Vin and provides the outputs of 13.4V@5 A for Constant Voltage Output Application, 9V-13.4V @ 5.5A for CC/CV Battery Charger application, and 5.5 A for Constant Current LED Drive application.  It features an inexpensive and more efficient solution to using discrete Buck and boost converters.

Features
  • Four Switch Buck Boost for Efficient operation
  • Higher Efficiency Buck-Boost Transition
  • Very Low Cost Solution for CC/CV Charger.
  • No Extra Components needed .
  • Low Vin Support for Automotive application
  • Optional Frequency Sync and Dithering
  • Cycle-by-Cycle Current Limit and Optional Hiccup
