Description

This reference design delivers a backup power circuit using a supercap with the boost converter TPS61030. In the low-power system that requires a backup switchover circuit at system's failure, a supercap together with TPS61030 could provide sufficient power to maintain data communication prior to the whole system's complete shutdown.
