Description

The SAT0027 IP Camera power module, is a highly efficient power solution that enables high performance 1080p IP Camera operation at the Class 1 PoE power level. This innovative power module relies on highly efficient switchers like the TPS5432 that are also very cost effective. The result is, TI delivers a solution that enables high performance while lowering system power to industry leading levels.


The platform can enable customers to operate directly from a low power (POE) Power Over Ethernet source in 1080p60 fps H.264 video. This reference design allows the flexibility to run from four different sources, 12V, 5V, Power Over Ethernet (POE), or Li-Ion battery cell. The design features the TMS320DM385 video processor, running on DDR3 memory, that interfaces with the TI SN65LVDS324 high definition image sensor to drive the camera lens.
