Description

The TPS7A1601EVM-046 evaluation module (EVM) is fully assembled and tested for evaluation of the TPS7A16, TPS7A16-Q1 and TPS7A16A-Q1 devices. The TPS7A1601EVM-046 EVM demonstrates the correct operation of the TPS7A16 devices, which is a 60-V, 100-mA, <6-μA IQ, low-noise, low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator in an 8-pin MSOP PowerPAD™ integrated circuit package.

  • Input voltage range from 6 V to 60 V
  • Input transient protection to 66 V
  • Fixed output of 5 V (adjustable by customer modification to 20-V VOUT)
  • 2% accuracy
  • Dropout voltage of 200 mV at 20 mA
  • Stable with a ceramic output capacitance that is greater than or equal to 2.2 µF
  • CMOS logic-level-compatible enable and power-good pin
  • User-programmable delay function
  • Fixed current limit
  • Thermal shutdown protection
  • 3-mm by 5-mm 8-pin MSOP-PowerPAD™ integrated circuit package
  • Operating range from –40°C to +125°C
