Description

The UCD3138 firmware is a free software development kit for Texas Instruments’ UCD3138 integrated digital power controller family. It encompasses firmware development tools along with supporting collateral for the most popular power supply topologies for quicker evaluation and development of digital power supply systems:



    • The Resonant Half Bridge LLC Application kit assists in the evaluation phase and development phase, allowing for quicker movement to production. UCD3138 Resonant LLC topology firmware with ZCS protection and mode switching capability to allow achievement of high efficiency across wider operating conditions. The sunflower feature (UCC7138) in the firmware provides advanced synchronous rectification control to achieve better efficiency in wider operating conditions.


    • The Phase Shift/ Full Bridge LLC (PS-LLC) firmware with ZVS operation and mode switching capability allows achievement of high efficiency across wider operating conditions.     • The Hard Switch Full Bridge (HSFB) Application kit assists in the evaluation phase and development phase allowing for quicker movement to production. HSFB firmware supports input voltage feed forward, copper trace current sensing, on the fly dead time and switching frequency adjustment and startup into pre-bias.


    • The Phase Shift Full Bridge (PSFB) Application kit assists in the evaluation phase and development phase allowing for quicker movement to production. UCD3138 Integrated Digital Controller PSFB topology firmware with Peak Current Mode control support adaptive dead time optimization and programmable slope compensation.


  • The Non-isolated Bi-directional Converter Application kit assists in the evaluation phase and development phase allowing for quicker movement to production. UCD3138 Integrated Digital Controller based on a Wide Vin non-isolated bi-directional topology provides firmware with ZVS transition mode support.
