The Android Development Kit from TI is a complete software offering developed
and optimized for Sitara ARM® Cortex™-A8 processors so developers can quickly
get started on evaluating and developing on the Android OS. The kit provides a
stable and fully tested software foundation that can be utilized on a wide range
of Sitara hardware including Evaluation Modules, Starter Kits and the
Beagleboard family of kits (beagleboard.org).

While supporting numerous Sitara devices, developers can also take advantage of ARM(r) Cortex™-A8 cores up to 1GHz and numerous peripherals to fit most embedded applications.
The Android Development Kit for Sitara devices is provided free of charge with no development or production restrictions.
