Overview

The CC2540EM DCDC VDD reference design contains schematics and layout files for the CC2540EM DCDC VDD module. The reference design demonstrates good techniques for CC2540 decoupling and RF layout. For optimum RF performance, the reference design should be copied accurately. This is a 4-layer reference design with an SMA antenna connector for RF output matched to 50 ohm. Along with that, it shows the proper way to supply the CC2540 with the TPS62730 DC/DC converter for current savings of up to 30% in active mode. The TPS62730 converter is controlled by the CC2540.
