Overview

The DAC81408 evaluation module (EVM) is an easy-to-use platform for evaluating the functionality and performance of the DAC81408 device. DAC81408 is an 8-channel, buffered, high-voltage-output, digital-to-analog converter (DAC) in 16-bit resolution with an integrated 2.5-V internal reference. It provides bipolar output voltage up to ±20 V and unipolar up to 40 V. DAC81408EVM provides the serial peripheral interface (SPI) via a PC-based graphical user interface (GUI).

Features
  • Integral nonlinearity (INL): ±1 LSB (max) at ±10-V output, ±2 LSB (max) at ±20-V output
  • Integrated 2.5-V precision internal reference
  • Output ranges: ±2.5 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, ±20 V, 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10 V, 0 V to 20 V, or 0 V to 40 V
  • Three dedicated A-B toggle pins
