Description
The DANCEVM-A is the Evaluation Board for TI’s Digital Active Noise Cancelling (DANC) Technology for Headphones. It breaks-out microphone and speaker connections from the audio converters to 1/8” (3.5mm) jacks allowing DANC technology evaluation using the customer’s existing headset or prototype.
This EVM allows all possible DANC configurations from a simple single-chip feedback architecture to full-blown hybrid noise cancelling. It also supports external I2S connections for Bluetooth or any other digital music source. The DANCEVM-A is operational with one Mini-B to Standard-A USB cable connection to a PC. The USB connection provides power and control.
Programming this board requires PurePath Studio access.
